A change of level can change the feeling of a home. In this furnished one-bedroom loft in Umalas, the living space and mezzanine give you distinct places to spend the day, while an 8.9 m² terrace keeps the outdoors close. Come back from the coast, make something simple for dinner, and let the evening continue at your own pace. The ground-floor position puts you within easy reach of Umalove Bali Residences’ shared spaces, yet the pleasure of the loft is in having an address that feels personal. Its 58.8 m² total area brings together an interior of 30.6 m², a 19.3 m² mezzanine and the terrace. For stays that last longer than a holiday, those different zones can make everyday life feel both relaxed and considered.

The loft format offers something beyond a conventional single-level apartment: a sense of separation within a compact footprint. The main interior accommodates the living, kitchen and dining areas, while the mezzanine adds another dimension to the home. Then the terrace gives you an outdoor place for the quieter parts of the day. Picture a slow breakfast before heading out, an afternoon with a book, or returning to familiar surroundings after an evening in Umalas. The residence is offered fully finished and furnished, with the kitchen, bathroom fittings, air conditioning and coordinated furnishings described in the project materials. You can focus on how the space will feel in use, while checking the exact furniture inventory and floor plan before choosing the home.

Umalas has a softer residential rhythm within the wider orbit of Seminyak, Berawa and Canggu. From a base here, you can set out for Bali’s cafés, dining and coastline, then return to a place that belongs to your own routine. The ground-floor setting also gives this loft a close relationship with the residence’s common areas. Days may move between your own terrace, the shared pool and time away exploring the island. What makes a second home memorable is often more ordinary than a view: knowing where you like to go, having a place to leave your things and being able to settle in as soon as you arrive. Explore our guide to Bali’s property neighbourhoods for more context around Umalas and its neighbours.

Umalove is planned as a collection of 31 furnished residences with a shared pool, gym, office space, reception, guest care and secured parking. These spaces can support a longer stay without asking the loft itself to do everything. There is room to work away from the apartment, keep a fitness routine and spend time outdoors. The project is under construction, so the supplied architectural images show the intended atmosphere rather than the finished residence or this loft’s exact outlook. On the Umalove Bali Residences project page, you can explore the wider collection and the October construction photographs. We can obtain the latest plans, specification and progress update for the residence you are considering.

This home offers a clear starting point, though the loft collection includes other floor plans and sizes. We can compare the available layouts with you, paying attention to how each mezzanine, living area and outdoor space works in practice. A short visit may call for a different balance than several months spent in Bali, especially if you intend to work from the residence or welcome guests. That conversation is more useful than choosing from images alone. If you are also considering a conventional apartment, we can discuss which format feels more natural for your stays. Our guide to living in Bali offers a broader picture of settling into the island, while the individual unit plan will answer the questions that matter inside the home.

The asking price for this loft is €192,900, including PPh and excluding 11% VAT (PPN). Notary and administrative fees are additional. Umalove is offered on an initial 25-year leasehold with an option for a further 25 years; the extension conditions need to be reviewed in the actual agreement. If you plan to make the home available for rental between visits, we will also examine management terms, costs and realistic operating assumptions with you. Rental returns depend on performance and are not guaranteed. Our guides to buying property in Bali as a foreigner et understanding Indonesian real estate set out the wider questions to consider before commitment.

Tell us what draws you to Bali and how long you picture staying. Bhavesh Koonja, REALTOR® and Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS), will help you compare the loft plans, current availability and full purchase costs through Tropical Riviera International Realty. We can arrange a discussion in English or French, share the unit materials and introduce qualified local legal advice when you are ready to review the lease. Our international advisory approach keeps the home itself at the centre of the decision: the way it lives, the terms on which it is offered and the place it could have in your life. When the right layout comes into focus, the next steps become much easier to take.

Request the loft plan and a private introduction on WhatsApp

Tropical Riviera International Realty A one-bedroom loft in Umalas, with room to live differently A change of level can change the feeling of a home.
